Trip Details

Rules and Regulations 

The trip is for the internal company use of Renewal By Andersen employees and cannot be transferred to any other party. The trip will begin and end in markets from which the employee has qualified (Bozeman, MT, Billings, MT, Kalispell, MT, Casper, WY and Rapid City, SD). If participants must leave from another city, Hoopla Travel Partners should be notified immediately. All flight deviations will be planned by Hoopla Travel Partners and surcharges/fare differences will be assessed directly to the participant. Please refer to the Transportation section for more details. All qualifiers may bring one guest. Participants and guests must be 21 years of age or older to take part in this program or travel. All accommodations are on a double/shared basis.

In February, Los Cabos recognizes Mountain Standard Time (MST)

When it is 10:00 AM in Bozeman, it is 10:00 AM in Los Cabos.

February is part of Los Cabos' dry season, with very little rain offering mild and pleasant weather

Currency:

The currency of Mexico is the Peso. 1 peso is equal to $.049 USD Subject to fluctuate before trip start date.

VAT Tax

VAT stands for ‘Value Added Tax’. Mexico VAT tax is a tax that is levied on the consumption of Mexican products and services. The tax is generally levied at 16% on the value of goods (hence Value Added Tax). 

International Phone Plan

To use your phone internationally, many providers such as AT&T provide free roaming in North America (Canada, USA and Mexico), other providers often offer an international plan. If you do not get an international plan your phone will not be in service unless you are on Wi-Fi, which will be provided at the resort.

Entry into Mexico

For entry into Mexico, your passport should have at least six months of validity beyond intended date of your departure. You must also provide proof of sufficient funds and a return airline ticket. A tourist card is no longer required for entry into Mexico if arriving to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). The only form you will need to complete is the customs form, this will be given to you on the plane prior to arrival. This form is one per household, if you are traveling with your spouse, you only need to fill out one. If traveling with a friend, you will both need to fill out your own.

Travel Headquarters customer service support including extensions and deviation assistance. All taxes, tips and gratuities for activities, meals and transportation listed in the itinerary are included.

 

Program Exclusions: 

Items of a personal nature including laundry, gift shop charges, other room incidentals, additional activities and spa treatments. You will be required to provide a credit card upon check-in to
secure any incidentals for charging privileges not included in your stay. The hotel puts a hold of $10 per room and then releases that hold upon check out. It is advised to use a credit card over a debit card for that purpose. You should also call your credit card company to let them know you are going to be out of the country.
