Island Tour by VW Beetles (We drive!)

Explore the island of HVAR in a Volkswagon Beetle convertible. Enjoy a fun day with some stops at scenic landmarks and hidden gems along the way. These VW bug convertibles are stick shift models and fit 4 persons per vehicle. You can choose to be the driver or a passenger on this adventure. The stops on this tour include:

Lavender Farm

On the sunniest island in Croatia, HVAR, grows the Mediterranean queen of all plants - lavender. You will visit an authentic lavender farm. As lavender has been used since ancient times for various purposes (medical, cosmetic, esthetic) many products of lavender base have been developed on this family farm (oil, hydrolat, salt, soaps and creams).

Spanjola Fortress

This fortress (or a citadel) in HVAR town, perched on a hill above the old town was built at the beginning of the 16th century (in the time of Venice). In 1579 it was restored after explosion of powder-chamber. This fortress dominates over the city. There is a beautiful panorama view of the town of HVAR and Pakleni Islands from the fortress.

Ranch Hora

Right here in the middle of the Starigrad plains you can try a variety of different wine that pairs  well with our homemade cheeses, pršut, sausages, anchovies and olive oil.  Everything here is family owned, and when you are at HORA, you are like family.

Beach Stop

After visiting some classic Croatian points of interest, enjoy some fun in the sun with a quick dip in the Adriatic Sea (weather permitting) before returning to the hotel for the afternoon at leisure.

Excursion to nearby Pakleni Islands & Lunch at Toto's Restaurant Palmižana bay

The Pakleni Islands, a chain of wooded islets off the coast of Hvar, Croatia, are known for their crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches, and secluded coves, making them a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Despite their name, which translates to “Hell’s Islands,” they are actually a paradise for nature lovers and boaters.
